What a wonderful place! The atmosphere is lovely, and the service is great, but the real star here is the cook. Her seasoning is on another level; every dish comes out flawless, packed with flavor, and prepared with a homemade touch that makes you fall in love with it. Plus, the cashier is super sweet and welcoming, making the whole experience top-notch from the moment you step in. The food was delicious from start to finish. It’s a true pleasure to eat at places where you can feel so much love put into what they do. 100% recommended!

Son got the hot Cheetos Korean corn dog 1/2 hot dog 1/2 cheese stuffed. We also got a tornado potato with cheddar. Tried a few sweets and took somethings to go. Cute atmosphere, friendly staff.

Wanted to try the cream brulee but they were sold out. I really like the crunchy caramel doughnut. I got the Korean dog half cheese and hot dog, It was fun. Loved the candy fruits.

Since this places turned into a self service factory, the quality has decreased, we tried 2 donuts and they were both stale. The cinnamon roll was also stale. Absolutely awful. And the young lady at the front checking us out was also very unpleasant. This establishment has declined significantly.

I was really excited to try this place because I love mochi donuts. I saw there were a lot of different flavors and also other baked breads all self serve. I got the crunchy caramel mochi donut, mama flan donut and guava and cheese bun. I feel like they all look good but nothing was amazing. The crunchy caramel was definitely crunchy but borderline dangerous with how sharp the caramelized sugar can be. The guava and cheese bun was good but the guava puck in the middle of the bun was too thick and gelatinized, I loved the flavor but overall made the bun too sweet. The most disappointing was the mama flan donut- it looked so good especially with the mini flan on top, but the cream that it had underneath spoiled so it tasted sour. We tasted it and knew it wasn’t right so we didn’t even eat any of the donut. We just came back from buying it and wanted to try it as soon as we got home and was so sad that it wasn’t good especially on the same day of getting it. Probably will try this place again but I will be wary of the freshness of ingredients and overall quality.

They truly have the best Korean corn dogs and donuts in all of South Florida. The cheese pull from a corn dog is incredible, and the donut selection is simply heavenly. My favorites are the maple apple and red velvet donuts. They also have delicious savory pastry snacks and adorable desserts. Whenever someone is looking for something new and tasty, I always recommend this place.

Great customer service! The Japanese Corndogs were amazing. My teenage daughter had the Hot Cheetos and I had the potato with cheese! 10/10

MaMa YaTai and Donut is a unique and cool donut shop in Davie. My cousin and I wanted to try mochi donuts and saw great reviews about MaMa YaTai on Yelp. When you walk in the café is decorated like a Japanese city with Asian decor plus lanterns and stuffed animals. When we walked in, it was quite of a line, but it moved quick. As you’re going through the line, you’re able to see all the different donut flavors that are offered. My favorite donut was the apple pie flavor, it was the perfect blend of sweetness with the right amount of cinnamon apple pie filling on top. My cousin got the Japanese corn dog, which she absolutely loved, it was huge filled with a lot of cheese. Needless to say, I cannot wait to come back to try more of their donut flavors and other Asian snacks that are offered.
